La Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias de la Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Agraria de Colombia \u2013 UNIAGRARIA particip\u00f3 en el Primer Taller en Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo y Atenci\u00f3n de Animales en Emergencias y Desastres bajo el enfoque One Health, desarrollado en la ciudad de Monter\u00eda y liderado por la Fundaci\u00f3n Arrieros Colombia, con el patrocinio y apoyo de organizaciones internacionales como Brooke, World Horse Welfare y The Foundation for the Horse.<\/span><\/p>

Durante esta jornada acad\u00e9mica y pr\u00e1ctica, los docentes Diego Hern\u00e1ndez Pulido y Julia Lema representaron a UNIAGRARIA compartiendo su experiencia en gesti\u00f3n del riesgo con enfoque en bienestar animal, aportando al fortalecimiento de capacidades de profesionales, instituciones y comunidades comprometidas con la prevenci\u00f3n y la atenci\u00f3n de emergencias que afectan tanto a los animales como a las poblaciones rurales.<\/span><\/p>

Como parte de la agenda, los docentes tambi\u00e9n participaron en una actividad de campo junto al equipo de la Fundaci\u00f3n Arrieros Colombia en la comunidad de Bajos de La Arenosa, en el municipio de Los C\u00f3rdobas (C\u00f3rdoba). All\u00ed desarrollaron una jornada veterinaria y de sensibilizaci\u00f3n sobre bienestar animal y reducci\u00f3n del riesgo de desastres, promoviendo el intercambio de conocimientos entre la academia y la comunidad.<\/span><\/p>

A partir de las experiencias vividas por los habitantes tras las recientes inundaciones ocasionadas por el frente fr\u00edo y considerando los pron\u00f3sticos de sequ\u00eda para la regi\u00f3n, se construyeron de manera participativa estrategias para identificar zonas seguras destinadas a la protecci\u00f3n de asnales, mulares y equinos ante posibles emergencias. Este ejercicio permiti\u00f3 fortalecer la preparaci\u00f3n comunitaria y consolidar acciones orientadas a incrementar la resiliencia de los territorios frente a los efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/span><\/p>

La participaci\u00f3n de UNIAGRARIA en este tipo de iniciativas reafirma la importancia de comprender que la gesti\u00f3n del riesgo comienza mucho antes de que ocurra un desastre. Escuchar a las comunidades, reconocer sus conocimientos y promover procesos de construcci\u00f3n colectiva son acciones fundamentales para desarrollar soluciones sostenibles, adaptadas a las realidades de cada territorio y alineadas con los principios de Una Salud (One Health) y Un Bienestar.<\/span><\/p>

Asimismo, estas experiencias fortalecen la misi\u00f3n institucional de la U Verde de Colombia de contribuir al desarrollo rural sostenible mediante la articulaci\u00f3n entre la academia, las organizaciones sociales y las comunidades, generando conocimiento con impacto real en los territorios.<\/span><\/p>

UNIAGRARIA expresa un especial agradecimiento a la Fundaci\u00f3n Arrieros Colombia por hacer parte de esta valiosa iniciativa y por su compromiso con la gesti\u00f3n del riesgo, el bienestar animal y el fortalecimiento de las comunidades rurales. De igual manera, reconoce la disposici\u00f3n y el compromiso de las familias de la comunidad de Los C\u00f3rdobas, quienes compartieron sus experiencias y demostraron que las soluciones m\u00e1s efectivas surgen del trabajo conjunto entre las comunidades, la academia y las organizaciones comprometidas con la construcci\u00f3n de territorios m\u00e1s resilientes y preparados para enfrentar los desaf\u00edos del futuro.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
