Bogot\u00e1 D.C., 29 de agosto de 2024<\/strong> \u2013 En un evento trascendental que promete redefinir la industria floricultora en Colombia, el Consejo Ejecutivo de la Mesa Sectorial de la Floricultura se reuni\u00f3 ayer en las instalaciones de la Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Agraria de Colombia-UNIAGRARIA. Bajo la direcci\u00f3n de UNIAGRARIA y su delegado, el Mg. Rub\u00e9n Alberto Lozano Gil, se presentaron avances cruciales que podr\u00edan transformar el sector en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la reuni\u00f3n, se revelaron los resultados de m\u00e1s de 15a\u00f1os de investigaci\u00f3n pionera llevada a cabo por el Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Agroindustrial de UNIAGRARIA. Los estudios, que se centran en la optimizaci\u00f3n de las operaciones en empresas floricultoras y en la producci\u00f3n de papel a partir de residuos de tallos de flores en la postcosecha, han abierto nuevas oportunidades para una industria m\u00e1s eficiente y sostenible. Estas innovaciones no solo buscan mejorar la competitividad del sector, sino tambi\u00e9n impulsar pr\u00e1cticas que respeten el medio ambiente, un tema cada vez m\u00e1s relevante en la agenda global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s de los avances cient\u00edficos, la reuni\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n cont\u00f3 con la presencia de la Asociaci\u00f3n Gremial Corporaci\u00f3n de Silleteros de Santa Elena, representada por Mart\u00edn Emilio Atehort\u00faa Londo\u00f1o. Atehort\u00faa ofreci\u00f3 un emotivo relato sobre la historia y la importancia cultural de la tradici\u00f3n silletera, un s\u00edmbolo nacional que cada a\u00f1o en Medell\u00edn, durante el desfile y concurso de silleteros, resalta la belleza y diversidad de las flores colombianas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El evento culmin\u00f3 con un taller de normalizaci\u00f3n dirigido por el SENA, en el cual los miembros del consejo participaron activamente. Este tipo de colaboraci\u00f3n interinstitucional no solo fortalece el compromiso de UNIAGRARIA con el desarrollo sostenible de Colombia, sino que tambi\u00e9n subraya el papel crucial que juega la educaci\u00f3n superior en la generaci\u00f3n de soluciones innovadoras para los desaf\u00edos del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Est\u00e1s actividades demuestran la consolidaci\u00f3n de UNIAGRARIA como un l\u00edder en la investigaci\u00f3n y desarrollo de pr\u00e1cticas agr\u00edcolas y agroindustriales avanzadas que prometen un futuro m\u00e1s pr\u00f3spero y sostenible para la industria y el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
