En el marco de esta inauguraci\u00f3n, el investigador y Director del Programa de Ingenier\u00eda Civil de UNIAGRARIA, Javier Garc\u00eda Guerrero, ofreci\u00f3 una charla titulada \u201cLos F\u00f3siles de Colombia: La Importancia Cient\u00edfica y Social del Registro F\u00f3sil del Neotr\u00f3pico\u201d, donde destac\u00f3 el valor de los f\u00f3siles de Villa de Leva y de Colombia en el contexto global, adem\u00e1s de su impacto en la investigaci\u00f3n y la educaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un reconocimiento al compromiso con la ciencia y la preservaci\u00f3n del patrimonio<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante el evento, el Centro de Investigaciones Paleontol\u00f3gicas (CIP) otorg\u00f3 un reconocimiento especial al Paleont\u00f3logo  Javier Garc\u00eda Guerrero por su destacada colaboraci\u00f3n en los proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n del CIP, as\u00ed como por su invaluable apoyo a las actividades de apropiaci\u00f3n social del conocimiento, particularmente en iniciativas educativas con ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes. Este reconocimiento resalta el compromiso de nuestro docente y director con la preservaci\u00f3n del patrimonio paleontol\u00f3gico de la naci\u00f3n y su contribuci\u00f3n a la educaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, un aspecto clave tambi\u00e9n de su trabajo en UNIAGRARIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El homenaje fue un reflejo de la importancia de la cooperaci\u00f3n entre la academia, las instituciones cient\u00edficas y la comunidad, as\u00ed como el valor del trabajo conjunto para promover el conocimiento, el estudio, la conservaci\u00f3n y la divulgaci\u00f3n del patrimonio Geol\u00f3gico y Paleontol\u00f3gico de la naci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un evento de alto impacto cient\u00edfico y cultural<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La inauguraci\u00f3n de las nuevas salas de exhibici\u00f3n del CIP,  fue un evento que reuni\u00f3 a autoridades locales y nacionales, cient\u00edficos, acad\u00e9micos y estudiantes. Participaron autoridades como la Gobernaci\u00f3n de Boyac\u00e1, la Alcald\u00eda de Villa de Leyva, la Secretar\u00eda de Cultura y Patrimonio de Boyac\u00e1, el Servicio Geol\u00f3gico Colombiano, la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo de Villa de Leyva, y representantes de la Red de Museos de Boyac\u00e1, entre otros. Adem\u00e1s, participaron instituciones acad\u00e9micas como la Universidad Juan de Castellanos, la UPTC y UNIAGRARIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El evento incluy\u00f3 un homenaje a la mujer en la ciencia, reconociendo el papel fundamental de las mujeres en el avance de la investigaci\u00f3n paleontol\u00f3gica y cient\u00edfica en Colombia, y subray\u00f3 la relevancia de la apropiaci\u00f3n social del conocimiento como una v\u00eda para acercar la ciencia a la sociedad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La Charla de UNIAGRARIA: un aporte a la ciencia nacional<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La charla de Javier Garc\u00eda Guerrero fue un componente clave del evento, en la que destac\u00f3 el valor cient\u00edfico y social de los f\u00f3siles de Colombia, especialmente aquellos que reposan en la colecci\u00f3n del Museo Centro de Investigaciones Paleontol\u00f3gicas, colecci\u00f3n que alberga numerosos ejemplares f\u00f3siles de gran valor, entre ellos, algunos \u00fanicos en su g\u00e9nero y especie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fortaleciendo la Colaboraci\u00f3n en Ciencia y Cultura<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este evento reafirma el compromiso de UNIAGRARIA con la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, la educaci\u00f3n y la apropiaci\u00f3n social del conocimiento.
