Soluciones Sostenibles para la industria de la construcci\u00f3n\u201d en su segunda etapa en la vigencia 2026, ha sido aceptado el art\u00edculo \u201cQuantifying the Photoelectrochemically Active Surface Area for Oxygen Evolution Metal Oxide Photoelectrocatalysts\u201d, en la revista ACS Catalysis cuartil Q1 con \u00edndice H 350 e ISSN 21555435. ACS Catalysys est\u00e1 indexada en el Science Citation Index Expanded de Web of Science, tiene un Factor de Impacto de 13.6 y se encuentra en el cuartil m\u00e1s alto (Q1) de su categor\u00eda y pertenece al percentil 88.5% en Qu\u00edmica F\u00edsica.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">En el marco de este proyecto misional se est\u00e1n fortaleciendo los resultados de investigaci\u00f3n en el \u00e1rea de materiales, espec\u00edficamente aquellos relacionados con la ciencia de materiales, nanotecnolog\u00eda, nuevos materiales para la sostenibilidad ambiental y transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica eficiente, fortaleciendo al mismo tiempo las capacidades de formaci\u00f3n de investigadores desde semilleristas, j\u00f3venes investigadores, estudiantes de posgrado y docentes con perfil de investigaci\u00f3n. En este proyecto se destaca el uso y comprensi\u00f3n de instrumentaci\u00f3n avanzada tal como equipamiento de Difracci\u00f3n de Rayos X (XRD), Microscopia de Fuerza At\u00f3mica (AFM), Espectroscopia Infrarroja por Transformada de Fourier (FTIR), Espectroscopia RAMAN, Espectroscopia Ultravioleta y Visible (UV-Vis), SEM-EDS (Microscopia Electr\u00f3nica de Barrido con An\u00e1lisis Elemental por Dispersi\u00f3n de Rayos-X) que han permitido alinear nuestra investigaci\u00f3n con las recomendaciones de la misi\u00f3n de sabios 2024, los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible 3, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13 y las recomendaciones de \u00e1reas estrat\u00e9gicas del Ministerio de Ciencia Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n en Tecnolog\u00edas Cu\u00e1nticas.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Por otra parte, el proyecto ha requerido de interacciones con \u00e1reas del conocimiento m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la ingenier\u00eda civil, de modo que hemos articulado trabajo cooperativo con profesionales en el \u00e1rea de ingenier\u00eda mec\u00e1nica, ingenier\u00eda electr\u00f3nica, microbiolog\u00eda, materiales, f\u00edsica entre otros. A su vez, el relacionamiento externo de este proyecto nos ha permitido trabajar cerca de instituciones nacionales de educaci\u00f3n superior reconocidas en investigaci\u00f3n tales como la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, UNIMINUTO, Tecnol\u00f3gico de Confenalco y Universidad del Atl\u00e1ntico. En cuanto a la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional conservamos estrecha relaci\u00f3n con el ICN2 Instituto Catal\u00e1n de Nanociencia y Nanotecnolog\u00eda Barcelona-Espa\u00f1a, INAM Instituto de Materiales Avanzados de la Universidad Jaume I Castell\u00f3n-Espa\u00f1a, Departamento de Qu\u00edmica y Centro de Procesamiento Electr\u00f3nico del Imperial College (Londres-Reino Unido), Departamento de Qu\u00edmica de la Universidad de Oxford Oxford-Reino Unido, el Departamento de Qu\u00edmica de la Universidad de Wisconsin, Universidad de ULSAN Korea del Sur, Universidad de DONGHUA Shangh\u00e1i, entre otros.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La revista ACS Catalysis se destaca por ser un escenario de publicaci\u00f3n de alto impacto cient\u00edfico y tecnol\u00f3gico en el top 50 en Web of Science. Este importante logro para el grupo de investigaci\u00f3n GIICFA, el Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Civil y para la Vicerrector\u00eda de Investigaciones, a cargo del Ph.D, Mikel Hurtado, se convierte en un nuevo referente en la historia de las publicaciones de la UNIAGRARIA en revistas indexadas de alto impacto, siendo un producto derivado de los ejercicios de investigaci\u00f3n rigurosa de los proyectos misionales.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Articulo Q1: Aceptado 01 de julio de 2026.
