Model of Virtual Education in UNIAGRARIA

The Pedagogical Model of Virtual Education is focused on learning:

To contribute with the construction of the BE. For UNIAGRARIA, the construction of the BE Uniagrarista requires the link synergist of the substantive functions supported in information technology and communications (ICT), which power the three pillars missionary institutional: Sustentabilidad environmental Culture of the Emprendimiento and Development Regional with a territorial approach. It is then the virtual education strategy for this Project to BE you can reach out to the community in regional and rural areas of the country, with the purpose of preparing people for life, and therefore promotes access to quality education through the incorporation of technology.

Virtual Education in UNIAGRARIA recognizes learning as a process that has as principal protagonist to the student, and seeks to promote changes that can be evidenced from the theoretical to the practical. These changes require, in a first step, to transform the traditional strategies in a predominantly magisterial teaching, in order to project in environments that accompany and guide the students, so that, through their actions, commitment, and motivation, to develop their competences in the framework of the comprehensive training. In this approach it is necessary to redefine the role of the student and the teacher, in addition to integrating new roles that ensure the comprehensive training.
Humanizing: The use of technology is inseparable from the virtual education, however, is not the end in itself, but the strategy for the Project to BE able to get to the territory, making it more close to the access to quality education in regional communities and rural. The Virtual Education of UNIAGRARIA looking for the humanization through the design of virtual learning environments that foster the development of autonomy and the recognition of the individuality by offering different means and resources, so that the students can be incorporated into different paths of learning and can learn at their own pace. In this sense, the Virtual Education incorporates defined in the pedagogical model of UNIAGRARIA, where it prioritizes the use of pedagogical strategies, active, preferring those that will ensure a personalized learning, meaningful, and collaborative. In addition, it recognizes the development of the self from the social interaction and emotional, which transcends the interaction exclusively in a virtual classroom to the development of BE in community, to strengthen the communication and interaction of the teacher-student and student-to-student, which will require you to propose solutions to the problems of the society.

This model recognizes that learning is an active process, in which the student is the main protagonist; therefore, the accompaniment becomes a key strategy to foster their autonomy, motivation and commitment to the training, ensuring a learning experience meaningful and transformative.

In the virtual mode of UNIAGRARIA you, the teacher, virtual plays a fundamental role as a facilitator and mediator of learning. Their work goes beyond the transmission of content, as you design learning environments meaningful, to promote the active participation, feedback continuously and encourage critical thinking. To do this, support it with Teacher Training courses for teaching skills, technological, communicative, and attitudes that will enable them to adapt to the dynamics inherent in virtual education.
