Our graduates in Engineering Mechatronics professionals are capable of designing, deploying and optimizing mechatronic systems complex ethically and strategically. They are prepared to lead projects of automation, robotics, and process control, providing technology solutions that drive efficiency and

For the year 2027 the Engineering program Mechatronics of UNIAGRARIA will be recognized by the quality of the training of its professionals and for his contributions to the innovation of mechatronic systems that promote the development of the regions and rural areas.
General objective:
The objective of the engineering program mechatronics sedes Bogota and Facatativá of the Fundación Universitaria Agraria de Colombia is to train professionals comprehensive, innovative, critical, able to develop mechatronic solutions for sustainable needs of the sectors of the primary and secondary, through the tools of research and entrepreneurship.
Specific objectives:
- Promote the formation of holistic professionals, understanding the importance of ethics and sustainable development in the exercise of their work.
- Fostering competence in the engineering design through teaching tools-learning theoretical practices.
- Seek for the training, research and innovative development of the mechatronic engineers in order to develop technological solutions and creation of a new company.
- To encourage the identification, analysis and development of solutions to the needs of the productive sector primary and secondary.

The Engineer Mechatronic of Uniagraria is characterized by a comprehensive professional, which is preparing to understanding the problems of the primary sector and to propose technological solutions with proposals creative and innovative through the Mechanics, the Electronics, Automatic Control, and ICT. Likewise, the engineer has skills in the design of solutions that impact the productivity of the processes of rural and industrial, through the development and leadership of automation procedures, research in the field of nano-and biotechnology, the development of machinery and robotics, applying sustainability strategies with the aim of contributing to the growth of the country.
