The Specialization in Management of Agribusiness contributes to the sustainable development of agribusiness, through the formation of leading specialists, based on scientific, ethical, and humanistic, through research and extension applied, leading to the promotion of entrepreneurship, the conservation of the environment and the development of the regions.
Through the three cycles of the Specialization, they use the theoretical knowledge needed to understand the dynamics of agribusiness management strategic, innovative, ethical and sustainable.
- Professional disciplines agricultural and/or other disciplines, with a high motivation to enhance and strengthen their capabilities and competencies to cope through creativity, management, strategy, entrepreneurship, and ethical leadership, the dynamics of the environments in the agricultural industry.
- Professional management organized the time, ability to work in a team, use of operating systems and technologies of information, ICT, the ability of synthesis and oral and written expression.
This program is intended for graduates and professionals who are teaching in rural contexts, as well as to managers, teachers and school counselors in educational institutions in rural areas. It is also oriented to professionals linked to the public sector, students in the final semester of related areas that they can access the first half of the Specialization as a choice of degree of Uniagraria, and to those professionals linked to the rural extension. In addition, it extends to practitioners of the Social Sciences, Human and Agricultural wishing to deepen in the field.
The specialist in the Management of Agribusiness program proposed by the Agricultural University of Colombia, you can play in public and private organizations with a sense of humanism, discipline, leadership and innovation, such as:
- Manager or senior managers of agricultural enterprises, agro-industrial and the like.
- A leading consultant in the formulation and evaluation of research projects and development in the areas of management, marketing and finance in all kinds of agricultural enterprises and agro-industry.
- Manager of entrepreneurship and innovation of their own agribusiness.
- Manager of plans of development of the rural sector and the organizations, with criteria of sustainability-social, economic and environmental.
- Coordinator of financial resources and human talent of agricultural enterprises
